Come visit her during their residency at The Globe of the Great Southwest from November 18 - 23!

Syd signed with her current agency, Acclaim Talent, and booked her first project soon after! (Details to come!)

Syd filmed a Proof of Concept titled “LUEUR” with Armadillo Studios. Catch her soon as Val, the brave, supportive, and silly member of the rag-tag group.

After auditioning for a panel of over fifty representatives from Austin's theatre scene, Syd was selected out of almost 200 actors to be one of the 30 featured in ATX Live's 1st Annual showcase, Nailed It.

May 9. 2024

Alumni status was granted to Syd when she graduated from Texas State University’s prestigious Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting Program.

May 3 & 4. 2024

Syd presented her thesis project, “Adulting Children,” to the Honors College. “Adulting Children” is a comedy pilot written by and starring Syd. She hopes to give it the Issa Rae treatment one day!

Syd played Olga, the headstrong and reliable third of Chekhov's iconic “Three Sisters.”

June 8 - July 1, 2023

London got the honor of having Syd for a few fun-filled weeks while she studied Shakespeare at The Globe, watched a ton of live theatre, and tried to convince locals she was one of them.

May 2. 2023

Syd slipped into multiple personas during the annual Clown Show at Texas State University. Being ordained with your clown nose is a rite of passage for students in the Acting Program.

February 23 - 26, 2023

Under the direction of Nadine Mozon, Syd developed the role of CC in “DeMaskUs aka Running,” a devised piece detailing perspectives on love, fear, and other vulnerable topics.

November 11. 2022

Syd played the lead in a short film titled “Break.” Synopsis: After hitting a low point in her life, Mari decides to seek out the joy she had with her ex-friend by revisiting the photo booth they used to frequent.

September 27 - October 2, 2022

Syd had the privilege of playing the title role in Bertolt Brecht's adaptation of the greek tragedy, Antigone. (A dream role!) Led by director Jess Hawthorne Fiene, the play was produced in the Patti Strickel Harrison Theatre and was named 'Outstanding Non-Traditional Thesis.'

May 20 - August 3, 2022

Syd makes her professional debut at the Texas Shakespeare Festival as Ma Gwynn (”Nell Gwynn”, Maud Dunlop (”The Music Man”), Haberdasher (”The Taming of the Shrew”), and Myrtle (”The Hog Princess.”)

April 16. 2022

Syd acts in her first short film, “Roses are Blue, Violets Are Red.” Synopsis: An older woman is eager to spend her anniversary in Paris with her husband, but he has other plans.

February 17 - 20, 2022

The first two parts of “Father Comes Home from the Wars” are produced by the Texas State Department of Theatre & Dance. Syd plays Third, a member of the play's chorus.

November 9 - 14, 2022

Syd earns the role of Tanya in Adrienne Dawes' play, “Teen Dad,” in Texas State University's New Works Festival. It's her first role in the Texas State University Department of Theatre and Dance's highly-anticipated Mainstage Season.
